Job summary

Wells Fargo in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Banking Relationship Manager to acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of customer relationships. You will lead discovery conversations to tailor banking and credit strategies, drive growth across deposits, loans, and investments, and coordinate with Wealth and Home Lending teams.

The role emphasizes risk-aware documentation, regulatory compliance, and proactive outreach to build loyalty through consultative conversations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63, or FINRA-recognized equivalents, active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required to be attempted within a specified period in Wyoming and listed states
  • State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Compliance with Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • No visa sponsorship available
  • Most Saturdays required

  • Demonstrate risk excellence through accurate documentation, sound judgment, timely escalation, and policy compliance
  • Support everyday banking activities, including opening accounts and handling service requests
  • Build customer credibility and loyalty through consultative conversations and proactive outreach
