Job summary

One Love Agency seeks a compassionate Reintegration Peer Support Specialist to help adults transitioning from incarceration back into their communities. The role involves field-based work across Boise and surrounding areas, with office access as needed.

You will support housing, employment, behavioral health treatment, and recovery, building life skills and resilience while partnering with community resources and professionals to empower lasting change.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Support Specialist (PSS) in Idaho.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications preferred.
• Experience with mental health, substance use, justice-involved populations preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong boundaries and rapport skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Peer Support services to adults with mental health, behavioral health, and reintegration needs.
• Complete assessments and help clients identify strengths, barriers, goals, and support needs.
• Develop individualized service plans with clients and supports.
• Reinforce independent living, coping, problem-solving, and community integration skills.
• Collaborate with probation, parole, treatment providers, employers, housing agencies, and community partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation following Medicaid and agency standards.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to aid recovery and resilience.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within health, housing, and employment systems.
