Howden Re in New York is seeking a Contract Drafter to learn and develop reinsurance contract documentation under supervision. You will draft contracts, interests and liabilities, coordinating with brokers, clients and reinsurers to reflect negotiation intent.

Ideal candidates have a four-year degree, strong MS Word/Office skills and excellent written and verbal communication. Legal work authorization in the US is required.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent experience.
• 0-5 years of experience with reinsurance contracts.
• Proficient in MS Word and Microsoft Office; strong written and oral communication.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsabilités

• Draft, develop and maintain reinsurance contract documentation.
• Collaborate with brokers, clients and reinsurers.
• Support RFPs and sales presentations with coverage and wording enhancements.
• Participate in department meetings and share knowledge and solutions.
