Job summary

MassMutual in Boston seeks a Contract Analyst to join the Reinsurance Development Team. You will support contract management, governance, and cross-functional initiatives across product lines, collaborating with Legal, Actuarial, Underwriting, and risk management.

The role emphasizes analysis, reporting, and documenting requirements, with opportunities to leverage AI tools, draft agreements, and contribute to audits and RFP processes. A strong writing and analytic mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; or 7+ years related experience in lieu.
• 5+ years in the life, health, annuity, insurance or financial service industry.
• 5+ years research and analysis experience.
• 3+ years with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and coordinate reinsurance agreements and amendments.
• Prepare senior management reporting and respond to compliance and audit requests.
• Conduct business analysis including competitor research and counterparty diligence.
• Coordinate communications with reinsurers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain templates, trackers, and governance materials.
• Support RFP processes and contract updates with reinsurance administration.
• Track recurring contractual, governance, and reporting obligations.
