Job summary

MassMutual's Reinsurance Development Team is seeking an experienced actuary to lead analytics and modeling for reinsurance across the organization. Based in Boston or Springfield, MA, you will partner with internal teams and external partners to understand current and projected reinsurance performance.

The role requires ASA or FSA, 5 years of life/health/annuity experience, and strong communication to present findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• ASA is required; FSA is a plus.
• 5+ years of life/health/annuity insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the modeling and analytics for regular reporting and ad-hoc analyses.
• Coordinate with reinsurance administration, valuation, and product pricing teams to ensure consistency.
• Develop analytics framework for inforce reinsurance arrangements and cash flow assessment.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to management and senior leadership.
