Pro IS, Inc. is seeking a Reinsurance Claims Analyst to support clients with claims processing, contractual validations, and data analysis in a remote role. The incumbent will review submissions, confirm coverage terms, and book claims in the system, handling bordereau reporting as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in reinsurance claims management, understands treaty language, and can work independently within a team while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in reinsurance claims management, including processing, coverage confirmation and reporting and/or claims auditing experience required.
• College degree in business/accounting/related field or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review client submissions to contract terms for accuracy and confirmation of coverage, ensuring all required supporting documentation has been received.
• Booking of claims (individually or bordereau reported) in the claims system.
• Ability to do detailed claims analysis, including reconciliation of inception to date claims balances and track aggregate deductibles and/or reinstatement premium calculations where applicable.
• Run reports and analyze data to help manage your portfolio of claims.
• Support the finance and accounting teams on data needs as requested.

Pro IS, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Claims Analyst. The successful candidate will support our clients with a variety of functions, some of which are listed below. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work with multiple clients on different projects which could include auditing in addition to providing claims support. This employment position will work remotely.

You MUST have reinsurance experience in the Property and Casualty lines of insurance; your application will not be considered without it. Knowledge of treaties/bordereau and understanding of contract language required. Also note: Candidates must reside in the 48 contiguous United States and will not require visa sponsorship, now or in the future to be considered for this position.

Main Responsibilities

• Review client submissions to contract terms for accuracy and confirmation of coverage, ensuring all required supporting documentation has been received.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• College degree in business/accounting/related field or equivalent work experience required.
• 1-2 years in reinsurance claims management, including processing, coverage confirmation and reporting and/or claims auditing experience required.
• Ceded claims experience a plus.
• Property & Casualty and/or Marine experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read and understand reinsurance contracts and apply the contract terms and conditions to submitted losses.
• Basic accounting skills including ability to work proficiently in Excel, using formulas and other database management tools as needed.
• Able to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong communication & organizational skills
