Role overview

The Mounting Support Consultant at Rehadapt North America is the go-to expert for delivering innovative mounting solutions that empower individuals with disabilities. This role combines technical problem-solving with relationship-focused interactions, collaborating closely with clinicians, caregivers, resellers, and end users to identify and implement effective solutions. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, providing product support and training, and supporting consultative sales efforts. The role leverages technical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure customer satisfaction, identify sales opportunities, and guide clients to suitable mounting solutions for assistive technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality technical support for mounting recommendations, installations, and troubleshooting via video calls, phone, and email/chat.
  • Create personalized product quotations meeting customer needs.
  • Collaborate with our German-based VMS Team to provide customized mounting proposals through our Virtual Mounting Service.
  • Conduct product demos, in-services, training, and webinars to showcase Rehadapt’s products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with resellers and stakeholders (SLPs, PTs, OTs, teachers, AT professionals) as a trusted advisor and technical resource.
  • Arrange product repairs and returns when necessary.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and trainings to promote brand awareness.
  • Prepare expense reports and manage special projects timely.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree with equivalent experience considered.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in technical support, inside sales, or consultative selling, preferably in healthcare, medical devices, or assistive technology industries.
  • Clinical experience (SLP, PT, OT, AT, Rehab Engineer) is a plus.
Certifications or Licensure
  • None required.
Communication Skills
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Effective sales presentation and platform training abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • CRM experience is preferred.
Other Skills
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
Physical Requirements
  • Travel 2-3 times per year nationally.
  • Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle required.
  • See, hear, speak, sit, stand, and walk.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment
  • Work at a desk for prolonged periods.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
