Job summary

UHC United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia seeks a Rehabilitation Support Assistant to assist licensed clinicians in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, following established treatment routines.

The role includes cleaning and managing rehabilitation equipment, handling patient transport with safety, inventory and supplies management, and monthly reporting of volumes, revenue, and expenses to support Rehabilitation Services.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed clinicians in physical, occupational, and speech therapy following established treatment routines.
• Clean and manage rehabilitation equipment.
• Manage patient charge reconciliation daily, including entry and corrections.
• Transport patients safely as assigned.
• Manage supplies and inventory for rehabilitation services including ordering and stocking.
• Maintain statistics on volumes, revenue, and expenses for rehabilitation services monthly.
• Calculate and report daily productivity to Director and Team Leaders.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
