Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV seeks a Rehabilitation Services Assistant to support licensed clinicians in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. You’ll assist with patient care, equipment handling, and daily clerical tasks in the Rehabilitation Services Department.

You’ll help transport patients, manage supplies, track volumes and expenses, and contribute to safety and quality. A high school diploma is required, and BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire; two months

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• Two months previous hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist licensed clinicians in treatment of patients per established routines.
• Clean and manage rehabilitation equipment.
• Daily patient charge reconciliation, including entry and corrections.
• Transport patients with attention to safety.
• Manage supplies and inventory for rehabilitation services.
• Maintain statistics on volumes, revenue and expenses monthly.
• Calculate and report daily productivity to Director and Team Leaders.
• Additional tasks supportive to Rehabilitation Services may be assigned.
