Job summary

Brown University Health in Providence, RI seeks a Rehabilitation Aide to support therapists in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology. The role transports patients, maintains treatment areas, and provides office and systems support across locations.

Under supervision, you assist with patient care, prepare treatment areas, maintain equipment, and may help with scheduling and data entry in an EHR.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required. Associate's degree preferred.
• One-year related experience in fitness training or direct patient care such as a Rehabilitation Aide or CNA position required.

Responsibilities

• Assists therapists and assistants in patient care as requested.
• Carries out patient intervention per therapist or assistant direction, including positioning, mobilizing, and exercising patient.
• Maintains gym and all treatment areas to Environment of Care (EOC) standards.
• Transports patients to and from treatment areas, exercising care in the handling of patients.
