How you’ll contribute

The Therapy Manager leads rehabilitation services by overseeing patient assessment, treatment planning, scheduling, and productivity standards. Ensures high-quality, evidence-based therapy delivery; collaborates with physicians and families; and maintains departmental compliance with applicable inspections and policies.

A Therapy Manager who excels in this role:

• Performs appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observes/evaluates treatments and recommends changes to the physician as needed.

• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develops teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involves families as appropriate and evaluates learning effectiveness.

• Assesses pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contacts the physician for appropriate intervention.

• Oversees scheduling of treatments and maintains departmental productivity standards.

• Ensures compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.

What we’re looking for

• Education/Licensure:Current state licensure/certification as RPT and/or Speech Pathologist, or OTR certified by NBCOT; current BCLS certification.

• Experience:At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.

• Skills:Proficient clinical assessment and treatment planning; knowledge of rehab modalities; pain assessment/management coordination; effective teaching and family engagement; scheduling and productivity management; strong communication, teamwork, and documentation accuracy.
