Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move.
• Develop individualized treatment plan.
• Coach patient and teach therapeutic massage to ease pain and promote healing.
• Maintain patient records and track progress toward goals.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support interventions.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments as documented.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services based on results.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and other providers.
• Communicate progress and plans with supervisor and health team.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries.
• Document regulatory and clinical information in electronic systems and maintain records.
• Participate in trainings, in-services, and conferences.
• supervise rehabilitation aides and/or students when applicable.
• Adhere to policies and code of conduct.
• Maintain Active State Licensure.
