Job summary

Responsibilities include patient consultations, treatment planning, supervision of rehab aides when needed, and preparation of discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed occupational therapy assistant required.
• Eligibility to practice as OTA in the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move.
• Develop individualized treatment plan.
• Coach patient and teach therapeutic massage to ease pain and promote healing.
• Maintain patient records and track progress against goals.
• Document regulatory and clinical information in the electronic documentation system.
