Job summary

The Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Rehabilitation Aide to assist Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy teams under supervision. You will support patient care tasks, set up equipment, and help with routine therapy sessions in a hospital setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year related healthcare experience or enrollment in a PT/OT program; 2 years’ patient care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-year related experience or graduate of or enrollment in an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or related healthcare focused program.
• 2 years’ experience with patient care in a rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks under the direction and immediate supervision of the Team Leader, Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience:

• 1-year related experience or graduate of or enrollment in an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or related healthcare focused program.

• 2 years’ experience with patient care in a rehabilitation setting.
