You will assist PT/OT teams by preparing equipment, setting up modalities, and guiding patients through exercises while ensuring safety and accuracy. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

• CPR certification is required.
• Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.
• Team-oriented approach with collaboration across care teams.
• Attention to detail and follow-through in patient care.
• Strong communication skills for patients and team members.
• Good problem-solving, lateral thinking, and reasoning abilities.
• Ability to interpret and execute therapy plans with supervision from PT/OT.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care, support, and guidance.
• Execute plans of care under PT/OT providers' guidance.
• Set up and adjust therapy equipment safely.
• Assist with modality setup and delivery (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound).
• Educate patients using demonstrations and cues for exercises.
• Monitor safety and response to exercise intensity.
• Communicate patient progress with PT/OT providers.
• Manage clinic flow and keep patients informed of delays.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Order supplies and support front-end tasks (check-in, co-pays, scheduling).
• Coordinate with referral teams regarding insurance benefits.
• Schedule management for clinicians and patients.
