Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital; Fort Smith is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support patient care on a PRN, day shift basis at 6700 Chad Colley Blvd, Fort Smith, AR 72916. You will assist with patient preparation, therapies, and clinical workflows alongside healthcare professionals.

We value teamwork, reliability, and caring communication. Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/BCLS, 6–12 months in a hospital setting, and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma.
• Experience: 6–12 months in an acute or long-term facility preferred.
• Certifications: Current CPR/BCLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in patient rooms and gym areas.
• Prepares patients for prescribed treatment and assists staff with therapy.
• Cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
• Procures and inventories therapy supplies.
• Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.
• Other duties as assigned.
