Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, Northwest Arkansas is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician for inpatient rehabilitation in Rogers, AR. This PRN role supports patient care on weekends in a dynamic hospital setting.

You will assist with patient preparation, basic therapy tasks, and equipment upkeep under seasoned staff, with opportunities to grow within a multidisciplinary team focused on excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• CPR certification.
• CPR/BCLS Certification.
• Minimum six months experience in an acute or long-term facility setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, Therapy Gym and other areas of the hospital.
• Prepares patients for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
• Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
• Procures and keeps an accurate inventory of all therapy supplies.
• Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.
• Other duties as assigned.
