Job summary

Lifepoint Health® seeks a Rehabilitation Technician (PRN) to join St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital, a state-of-the-art inpatient facility. The role entails assisting patients in recovery through defined tasks, communicating effectively with the rehabilitation team, and participating in training after orientation.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting.
• CPR certification (when required).
• Willing to participate in on-the-job training after initial orientation.

Rehabilitation Technician (PRN)

St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital is a state‑of‑the‑art, 50‑bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.

Responsibilities

• Follows patient care‑related tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to assist the patient in achieving optimal goals
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to members of the rehabilitation team
• Visual acuity to perceive patient reactions to treatment and to read instructions
• Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Other duties as assigned
