Job summary

Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician for PRN (day shift) in Lancaster, PA. This inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital provides care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, orthopedic and other conditions.

The role supports patient care under the guidance of OTR/RPT, requiring communication with the rehab team and ability to assist with lifting and transport of equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months relevant rehab experience strongly recommended.
• CPR certification (when required).
• Willing to participate in on-the-job training after initial orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follows patient care-related tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to assist the patient in achieving optimal goals.
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to members of the rehabilitation team.
• Visual acuity to perceive patient reactions to treatment and to read instructions.
• Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
