Job summary

Endeavor Health in Rolling Meadows, IL seeks a Rehab Technician to support outpatient physical rehab services. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with regular hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Travel is not required.

You will assist therapists, manage clerical tasks, and help maintain treatment equipment and logs. Coursework and certification include a high school diploma and AHA BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification: American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists therapist with patient set-up prior to treatment and equipment removal after treatment.
• Provides support and assistance in various patient treatment activities.
• Communicates treatment effects and changes in patient condition to the therapist.
• Maintains department equipment, supplies and accessories.
• Performs inventory control of departmental supplies and equipment.
• Performs clerical tasks such as filing medical records and copying documentation.
• Orders and maintains linen supplies and coordinates daily caseloads and schedules.

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Full time/Part time: Full Time, 40 hours/week
• Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)

What you will do:

• Assists therapist with patient set-up prior to treatment and with equipment removal following treatment.
• Provides support and assistance in various patient treatment activities
• Communicates treatment effects and changes in patient condition to the therapist
• Maintains department equipment, supplies and accessories.
• Cleans all equipment, maintains logs and checks equipment condition. Performs inventory control of departmental supplies and equipment.
• Performs various clerical tasks which may include: filing medical records and patient documentation, retrieving medical records for HIM/EHS/PFS and copying records for requesting departments.
• Copies and faxes documentation to physicians and maintains log book. Prepares folders for therapy staff and envelopes for mailing and departmental correspondence.
• Orders and maintains linen supplies, changes linens as needed and removes linen bags at end of day and/or as needed.
• Coordinates therapists' daily caseloads and schedules as appropriate

What you will need:

• Education: The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school, or the equivalent.
• Certification: American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
