Job summary

Endeavor Health's outpatient physical rehab team in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking a Rehab Technician to support therapy sessions and patient setup.

You will assist therapists with patient treatment, manage equipment and supplies, document treatment notes, and coordinate daily caseloads. Requires a high school diploma and American Heart Association BLS CPR certification. Hours: 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, full-time.

Qualifications

• Completion of four years of high school or equivalent.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists therapist with patient set-up prior to treatment and with equipment removal following treatment.
• Provides support and assistance in various patient treatment activities
• Communicates treatment effects and changes in patient condition to the therapist
• Maintains department equipment, supplies and accessories.
• Cleans all equipment, maintains logs and checks equipment condition. Performs inventory control of departmental supplies and equipment.
• Performs various clerical tasks which may include: filing medical records and patient documentation, retrieving medical records for HIM/EHS/PFS and copying records for requesting departments.
• Copies and faxes documentation to physicians and maintains log book. Prepares folders for therapy staff and envelopes for mailing and departmental correspondence.
• Orders and maintains linen supplies, changes linens as needed and removes linen bags at end of day and/or as needed.
• Coordinates therapists' daily caseloads and schedules as appropriate

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Education: The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school, or the equivalent.
• Certification: American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
