Job summary

Kindred Hospital Indianapolis North is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support therapy teams and help patients reach goals in a compassionate environment. The role emphasizes safe patient transport, clear team communication, and adherence to treatment plans in an LTAC setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to support therapy goals.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy.
• Communicate clearly with the rehabilitation team.
• Observe patient responses and follow treatment instructions.
• Lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs and use proper body mechanics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

A Rehabilitation Technician who excels in this role:

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.
• Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.
• Observe and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.
• Lift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; use proper body mechanics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
