Job summary

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Services Technician to join our Inpatient Rehab team. This full-time role is Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and one major and one minor holiday required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required upon start.
• Experience in rehab setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to facility policy in maintaining patient care areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Assists with patient care under guidance of a licensed rehab professional and demonstrates essential skill competencies.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff and team members.
• Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School or GED
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in the rehab setting
