Job Summary
Works under the supervision of a licensed Physical/Occupational Therapist and assists the therapist in patient care and other clinic-related activities.

- Education: High school graduation or GED, or one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Students seeking therapy-related careers are preferred.
- Language Ability: Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence or memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Effective in presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and staff.
- Math Ability: Able to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret data such as ratios, rates, and percentages.
- Reasoning Ability: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and operational knowledge are preferred.
- Certificates and Licenses: None required.
Working Conditions
- Noise level: Moderate
- Traveling: May need to travel between clinics; travel is not reimbursed.
- Physical demands: Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, handle, bend, stoop, lift up to 50# frequently and 70# occasionally, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Vision requirement: Ability to perform close and peripheral vision, and spend several hours in front of a computer.
Rehab Tech Duties
- Communicate with clients and staff via in person, phone, or mail.
- Assist patients with paperwork, insurance verification, and authorization for treatment.
- Clean and set up treatment areas with proper disinfectant after each use.
- Assist therapists with patient care within the scope of training.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and supplies.
- Manage scheduling, cancellations, and follow-ups.
- Perform inventory and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
- Support marketing and departmental activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings and organizational responsibilities.

- Support the facility's mission, policies, and standards.
- Maintain professional conduct and ethical standards.
- Work minimum of 20 hours per week to maintain part-time employment; full-time hours may qualify for benefits.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with colleagues and clients.
- Use resources responsibly and report wasteful practices.
- Contribute to compliance, performance improvement, and safety programs.
- Participate in ongoing training and share knowledge gained.
- Perform all duties within safety and infection control guidelines.
