Job summary

Archbold Medical Center is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician for the Acute Rehabilitation unit. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and on-the-job training or completion of a Rehabilitation Technician program. Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient lifting and transfers, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Strong communication with patients and staff is essential.

Required Skills: Manual dexterity and motor coordination necessary to maneuver patients and equipment. Initiative to carry out assigned duties independently. Ability to communicate effectively and to relate well with fellow employees, patients and the public. Ability to follow departmental and institutional procedures and instructions.

Physical Demands: Ability to assist with lifting and transferring of patients, stocking of supplies and linens, leaning, bending and stooping for cleaning of work surfaces.
