Job summary

Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician for a full-time Day Shift (8am–5pm). Candidates should be High School graduates aged 18+ with on-the-job training in rehabilitation techs; healthcare experience is a plus but not required.

You will assist in patient care, equipment handling, and maintenance of a clean work environment. Physical demands include lifting and transferring patients, stocking supplies, and cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

Education Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent degree. Must be a minimum of eighteen years old. Experience: Must undergo on-the-job training or have completed a training program for Rehabilitation Technicians.

Experience in the healthcare field preferred but not required. Required Skills: Manual dexterity and motor coordination necessary to maneuver patients and equipment. Initiative to carry out assigned duties independently. Ability to communicate effectively and to relate well with fellow employees, patients and the public. Ability to follow departmental and institutional procedures and instructions.

Physical Demands: Ability to assist with lifting and transferring of patients, stocking of supplies and linens, leaning, bending and stooping for cleaning of work surfaces.
