Job summary

Endeavor Health's Skokie Hospital is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician – Inpatient – Day/Evening to support physical and occupational therapy teams at the bedside and in the open gym. This full-time role offers a 40-hour week, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Tuesday to Friday 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m.; weekends are not required. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; prior rehab or clinical exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous experience or observation/volunteer hours in rehab or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical and Occupational Therapists with patient care activities at the bedside and/or in the open gym.
• Sort, store and keep inventory of linens, supplies, equipment and forms.
• Assist with therapy scheduling.
• Clean and disinfect equipment.

Hourly Pay Range

$19.22 - $27.87 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Location: Skokie Hospital, Skokie, IL

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Hours: 40hrs/week Monday-Friday, 7am – 7:30pm. Monday 11a-7:30p. Tuesday-Friday 8a-4:30p

Weekends: No

Holidays: Yes; rotation into two summer and two winter holidays per year
