Alliance Orthopedics, an industry-leading multidisciplinary practice, is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to guide patients through therapeutic exercises and assist with rehabilitation protocols. The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, and compassionate when working with a wide variety of patients.

The role involves assisting the Physical Therapist and other specialties during sessions, as well as performing basic administrative and clerical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to and from the waiting and therapy areas
• Lift and move patients with mobility issues from tables and chairs
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises assigned by the Physical Therapist(s)
• Assist with patient progression using PPTs: Physical Performance Testing (Functional Movement Screening, computerized strength testing, balance assessments)
• Set up therapy equipment and modalities as required
• Sanitize therapy areas after each patient
• Help floor staff with inventory and product replenishment
• Support patients in completing their functional rehabilitation programs
• Maintain a steady flow of patients as they arrive and finish sessions
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with providers for program adjustments
• Communicate openly with rehabilitation technicians, Athletic Trainers, and floor staff
• Report patient signs or symptoms to providers and administrative staff
• Follow company rules, regulations, and procedures
• Participate in marketing and outreach events as needed
• Maintain professional relationships with all employees and adhere to company policies

Requirements

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience or equivalent
• Physical ability to lift and move patients
• Patience and compassion
• Excellent interpersonal skills
