Job summary

Landmark Hospital of Joplin is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to join our team in Joplin, Missouri. This full-time position focuses on patient transport, safety, and support during therapy sessions in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with exercises, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a clean, organized treatment area. Preferred credentials include a CNA or Rehab Tech certification and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be organized, a team player, and detail-oriented.
• Active CNA or Rehab Tech certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or providing standing support.
• Secures and positions patients into or onto therapy equipment.
• Provides added safety during treatments with the patients and patient's equipment.
• Instructs, motivates, safeguards, and assists patients in exercising and functional activities.
• Measures vital signs under therapy staff direction to assess treatment effects.
• Keeps area, supplies, and equipment organized and disinfected between treatments.
• Participates in patient care tasks such as feeding and transferring patients as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
