Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis seeks a Rehabilitation Technician to support therapists in delivering patient care across ages under supervision.

You will assist with registration, scheduling, and transferring patients to the Rehab Therapy Gym, while maintaining a courteous, safe, and efficient workflow. Responsibilities include entering charges, preparing treatment areas, assisting with procedures, and performing receptionist duties as needed.

Qualifications

• One year experience or education in therapies preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registration and scheduling of patients.
• Perform patient care duties with patients of all ages under the direction of staff therapists.
• Responsible for transferring patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Exhibit excellent human relations skills (listening and speaking) with patients.
• Work well with others and be flexible with a variety of duties.
• Demonstrate initiative and responsibility for daily tasks.
• Direct contacts include patients, therapists, and nurses.
• Enter charges and prepare treatment areas; assist with treatment procedures.
• Assist with cleaning/preparing treatment areas, scheduling, filing, receptionist duties, and transportation for patients.
