Arundel Lodge, Inc. is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to support members in recovery from mental and physical illness and substance use challenges. You will help foster a positive culture and quality of life within our Senior Program.

Responsibilities include transportation, money management, scheduling, dietary coaching, and teaching essential life skills to promote independence. Weekend shifts are available, with competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; BA in human services preferred.
• Minimum one year in mental health or psychosocial rehab, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Position Overview:

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, in our Senior Program you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive culture and quality of life for the members of Arundel Lodge. Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals in their recovery journeys from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide transportation for clients as needed.


• Assist with money management, appointment scheduling, and dietary coaching.


• Support daily living activities (ADLs) and teach essential life skills.


• Facilitate shopping and cleaning tasks to promote independence.


• Driving clients to any appointments and other daily needs


• Engage clients in their recovery process and offer compassionate support.

$18 - $18 an hour

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Arts degree in a human services field preferred.


• Minimum of one year of experience in mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation, or a combination of education and experience that meets these requirements.


• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Position Hours Available: Saturday & Sunday 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
