Arundel Lodge is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist for the MICA Program to support residents in their recovery from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use within a compassionate community.

This weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday 6am6pm) focuses on daily living activities, medication monitoring, transportation, and encouragement of self-determination, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Arts degree in a human services field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation field, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.

Responsabilités

• Prompting residents to start their day and assisting with daily activities.
• Monitoring medication and facilitating transportation.
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), making appointments, daily cleaning, cooking, and providing overall caregiving support.
• Most importantly, supporting individuals in their recovery journey from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use.

Position Overview

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, in our MICA Program you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive culture and quality of life for the members of Arundel Lodge. Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals in their recovery journeys from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use challenges.

(Weekends) Saturday & Sunday 6am To 6pm
