Job summary

Arundel Lodge, Inc. seeks a Rehabilitation Specialist to support members in their recovery from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use.

This role is part of our Senior Program, focusing on fostering a positive culture and quality of life for participants within the community. Key responsibilities include transportation, scheduling, money management, ADL support, and teaching life skills, with daily client engagement and compassionate guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; BA in human services preferred.
• Minimum of one year of mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation experience or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Assist with money management, appointment scheduling, and dietary coaching.
• Support daily living activities (ADLs) and teach essential life skills.
• Facilitate shopping and cleaning tasks to promote independence.
• Driving clients to appointments and other daily needs.
• Engage clients in their recovery process with compassionate support.

$18 - $18 an hour

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Arts degree in a human services field preferred.


• Minimum of one year of experience in mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation, or a combination of education and experience that meets these requirements.


• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Position Hours Available: Saturday & Sunday 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
