Job summary

A community-focused behavioral health organization in Annapolis is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to assist residents with daily activities and support their recovery journey. Responsibilities include monitoring medication, providing caregiving support, and facilitating transportation. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma, valid driver's license, and ideally a year of experience in mental health. Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in the mental health field.
• Acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prompt residents to start their day and assist with daily activities.
• Monitor medication and facilitate transportation.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide caregiving support.
• Drive clients to appointments and other engagements.
• Support individuals in their recovery journey.

Skills

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), making appointments, cleaning, cooking, and providing overall caregiving support
• Driving clients to appointments and other engagements
• Supporting individuals in their recovery journey from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use
