Job summary

Amergis Staffing (formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing) is seeking a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) for contract full-time work in Knoxville, TN. The role focuses on assisting patients with chronic illness or debilitating injury to regain maximum function and pursue an independent lifestyle.

Applicants must hold an active RN license in the state, have CPR if applicable, and meet all regulatory requirements. CRRN may be required per contract.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year prior professional nursing experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• CRRN certification may be required per state/client contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in attaining maximum function for chronic illness or debilitating injury.
• Aid in recovery process and develop a recovery plan aiming for independent living.

Location: Knoxville, TN

The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse is responsible forassisting patients in attaining and maintaining maximum function due to chronicillness and/or a debilitating injury.The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse assists patients in the recoveryprocess, as well as creating a recovery plan with the ultimate goal ofachieving an independent lifestyle as much as possible.

Minimum Requirements:
