Qualifications

Assist patients in preparing for therapy and therapeutic activities. Provides other support services, dictated by patient needs, as a care delivery team member. Utilizes effective and appropriate communication styles. Supports unit and hospital goals and objectives.Job DutiesProvides care related activities for designated patients which is directed by RN, PT, OT, ST, EP and/or recreational therapist using a patient/family centered approach.Reports observations/changes in patient status to the appropriate nursing and/or medical personnel and performs hourly purposeful rounding to assess pain, toileting, and positioning needs. Reports any issues or abnormalities.Assists with transfer, gait, and daily living.
