Lehigh Valley Health Network is hiring a Patient Care Partner for the night shift at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton. The role provides direct patient care, data collection, and collaboration with the care team to support patient needs during the 7p-7:30a shift and every other weekend with rotating holidays.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, and recent experience in patient care or completion of LVHN’s training program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of recent experience in direct patient care preferred or successful completion of LVHN's inexperienced technical partner course.
• Ability to follow directions and provide accurate reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and related activities as directed by a Registered Nurse.
• Communicate findings or problems promptly to the RN.
• Support unit and hospital goals and participate in patient care delivery as a team member.

Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking.
