Altius Group is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support recovery and rehabilitation of individuals with injury, illness, or disability. You will guide return-to-work and improve quality of life through clinical expertise and stakeholder collaboration.

You will develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans, perform functional assessments, and coordinate with clients, families, insurers, and employers to achieve optimal outcomes.

Competenze

• Must hold Full AHPRA Registration as Occupational Therapist.
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current driver’s license and access to own transport.
• Full Australian Working rights.

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans with a whole-of-person approach.
• Complete assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace and Ergonomic Assessments, ADLs.
• Identify return-to-work pathways aligned with recovery milestones.
• Perform assessments and facilitate return-to-work of claimants using clinical experience.

YOUR NEW ROLE

Working from our as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. Your clinical expertise and guidance will be pivotal in supporting individuals regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce.

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation
• Complete a range of assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).
• Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones
• Utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants
• You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors
• Present case information to various stakeholders and providing credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal
