Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join a multidisciplinary care team. The role includes preparing patients and equipment for treatment, assisting in patient care, and transporting patients onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center.

The position is 0.25 FTE with a day shift, 10 hours per week, onsite at the hospital. Required BLS certification; Alaska CNA certification preferred for SNF roles; 1 year of rehab exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS certification is required at hire.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred (1 year or volunteer work).
• Certified Nursing Assistant in Alaska for SNF is preferred at hire.

Assists a multi-disciplinary staff of professionals and para-professionals to provide quality patient care. Assists the manager in the cost-effective maintenance of the department and its supplies. Responsible for preparing patients and equipment for treatment, transportation of patients, and tasks related to maintaining a orderly working environment. Under the supervision of the appropriate professional, assists in the treatment of the patient.

The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
