Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK, is seeking a Night Shift OR Assistant for a full-time, onsite 1.0 FTE position at Providence Alaska Medical Center. You will assist with the operating suites, maintain a safe and clean environment, handle equipment and supplies, decontaminate rooms, and perform routine maintenance as required.

Preferred qualifications include CNA upon hire and at least 1 year of hospital experience. National Provider BLS is required at hire.

Qualifications

  • National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant upon hire (preferred).
  • At least 1 year hospital experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general support of professional staff in the operating suites.
  • Maintain a safe, hazard-free, clean environment that facilitates patient-focused care.
  • Handle equipment and supplies, clean and decontaminate operating rooms and equipment, and perform routine maintenance on technical equipment.
  • Restock supplies and support on-call and shift coverage as needed.

Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Night Shift, 40 hours per week. Located onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Assists with general support of the professional staff in the operating suites. Activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment that facilitates patient focused care. OR Assistants handle equipment and supplies, clean and decontaminate Operating Rooms and equipment, and operate and perform routine maintenance on a variety of technical equipment, and restock supplies. A solid attendance record, positive attitude and flexibility are required.

Required Qualification:

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $26.85
