Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula is seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation Aide to assist the physical therapy team in providing rehabilitation services, guided by current standards and regulations.

The role supports therapists to ensure the highest quality patient care across the unit. You will be expected to be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to patients, families, staff and visitors, representing the hospital positively at all times.

Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required.
• Experience in an aide capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and/or occupational therapists in delivering rehabilitation services in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Maintain a high level of patient care and be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to patients, families, staff and visitors.

The primary function of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Aide is to assist the physical therapist, physicial therapist assistant and/or occupational therapist in the provision of rehabilitation services in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be defined by the Director of Rehabilitation Services, to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care can be maintained at all times.
All caregivers are expected to be pleasant, respectful, and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors to the hospital as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.
