Job summary

Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA, seeks a Rehabilitation Aide - Physical Therapy to support therapists in inpatient and outpatient care. Per diem, 8-hour day shifts, with opportunities to work with pediatric, adult and geriatric patients under supervision.

You will maintain a safe environment and assist with clerical tasks to keep department operations smooth; prior acute care or direct care experience is preferred.

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
• 1 year of acute patient care experience, or 6 months in a direct care environment providing clerical support.

Under direct supervision of therapist, assists the physical/occupational therapists or therapist assistants in providing treatment for the pediatric, adult or geriatric patient for in-patients and outpatients as needs. Maintains a clean and safe environment for patient care. Performs general clerical duties to assist with smooth daily operations of the department.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
