Main Line Health in Bryn Mawr is seeking a Rehab Unit Coordinator to support the nursing unit with secretarial duties, coordination of communications, and patient discharge transportation.

Qualifications

• Medical secretarial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; experience in a hospital/healthcare setting preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instruction in English.
• Ability to speak/communicate in English sufficiently to perform job duties required.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Successful completion of all orientation requirements.
• Computer experience strongly preferred.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• facilitate communication for the entire unit and be the first person visitors see when entering the unit
• perform the secretarial duties of the unit and assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring on the nursing unit
• coordinate transportation for patients being discharged, ensure that visitors are following security protocols, and answer phones.
