Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I opportunity near you invites compassionate professionals to join a team dedicated to patient rehab. You will support therapists, assist with therapy activities, and help maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.

You'll collaborate with nurses and the healthcare team, prepare and transport patients, and communicate observations to therapists to guide care decisions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• Has completed elements required for Rehab Tech I or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
