Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support therapists, set up equipment, and deliver compassionate patient care. You will contribute to a safe, efficient rehab environment and collaborate with nurses and therapists to help patients progress.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred by hospital policy.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of elements required for Rehab Tech I training in school or on-the-job.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate therapist observations on patient care activities.
