Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Aide to support patient care at the Hadley location. You will assist therapists, prepare treatment areas, and help with daily census tracking while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in a health field, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service and communication skills; experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or health related field is required.
• Valid state issued driver’s license is required.
• Experience in a health care setting such as a physician or therapy office is preferred.
• Demonstrated written and verbal skills and excellent customer service skills are required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Word and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in miscellaneous operational back-up and secretarial/receptionist tasks including filing, phoning patients for reminders, sorting mail, collating statistics, and census updates.
• Track and report daily inpatient census.
• Maintain hospital and departmental policies, confidentiality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Attend meetings and meet annual competency and retraining requirements.
• Prepare, set up and clean patient care areas in all rehabilitation services specialties.
