Job summary

White Mountain Regional Medical Center in Springerville, AZ is seeking a PRN Rehabilitation Technician to provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy treatments under supervision. You will collaborate with therapists and the health-care team to support patient-centered care in the Rehabilitation Services Department.

The role is safety sensitive and requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, with preferred 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year experience as Rehabilitation Technician preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy treatments under the direct supervision of licensed therapists.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support a patient-centered culture and quality of care at WMRMC.

The Rehabilitation Technician is a clinical position responsible for the provision of specific physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy treatments. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient care provided at WMRMC. The Rehabilitation Technician provides services under the direct supervision of the physical therapist, occupational therapist, and/or speech therapist, utilizing the established standards of care and practice for all patient populations served by the White Mountain Regional Medical Center Rehabilitation Services Department.

This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.

Required Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Experience
One (1) year experience as Rehabilitation Technician

Required Licensees & Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
