Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Rehab Tech to assist in physical therapy services under supervision. You will prepare patients and equipment, assist with treatments, and report changes to therapists, while maintaining clinic inventory and equipment.

The role requires HS or GED and current BLS CPR certification. You will coordinate with nurses and therapists, manage room readiness, and support EMR data entry and supplies within budget constraints.

Qualifications

• HS or GED required.
• Current BLS CPR certification required.
• Ability to learn medical terminology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision with gait and ambulation, transfers, and exercises.
• Prepare patient rooms and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Assist therapists and maintain patient safety and infection control.
• Document measurements/data in EMR flowsheets.
• Maintain logs of patient attendance and treatments performed.
