GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Rehab Tech to assist under the direct supervision of a therapist or OTA, preparing patients and equipment, and supporting therapy sessions. You will document measurements in the EMR, manage room prep, and help with administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, applying packs, monitoring safety, and maintaining inventories. The role requires HS/GED, BLS CPR, and basic computer skills with EMR access.

Formación

• HS or GED required.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• 3 months healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Gait and ambulation; Functional activities; Transfers; routine follow-up of specific exercises; hot/cold packs; assist therapist when more than one patient is present.
• Prep room and set up equipment; maintain inventory and infection control.
• Take weights and vitals; transcribe measurements into EMR flowsheets.
• Provide administrative support: scheduling, logs, check-in/out, and communications.
• Escort patients, manage patient flow, and ensure safety during therapy sessions.
