Job summary

GBMC is seeking a Rehab Tech to assist therapists in physical therapy under direct supervision. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, observing treatments, and reporting changes to therapists.

You will also handle routine clerical tasks, maintain inventory, and support patient flow while ensuring infection control and safety standards are met. This role requires HS or GED and a current BLS CPR certification, with healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS or GED is required.
• Current BLS CPR certification preferred.
• 3 months healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to learn EMR and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision with gait and ambulation and functional activities.
• Prepare room and setup equipment for treatments.
• Transport patients to and from treatment areas.
• Take patient weight and vitals during visits.
• Maintain department inventory and supplies; reorder when needed.
